On March 8, 2024 at 1:00pm.at the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC activists will gather to protest Havana’s support for Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, to highlight the shameful reality that Cuban soldiers are fighting and dying for an unjust cause.

We will also pay our respects for Cuban opposition leader Oswaldo Paya, who was murdered by Castro on July 22, 2012, and whose birth anniversary was on February 29th, one day prior to the burial of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who was murdered by Putin on February 16, 2024, and buried on March 1, 2024.
