In an era of global competition, Florida International University (FIU) in DC hosted on June 16, 2026 a panel to examine the landscape of Latin America and the Caribbean through the lens of Cuba and Venezuela. Featuring panelist from the Heritage Foundation and the Center for a Free Cuba, this program examined the countries instability and opportunities for growth and how they are shaped by U.S. policies under President Trump.
